Naturopathic Physicians are licensed as primary care doctors. We are trained as general practitioners in complementary medicine, providing a full range of diagnostic tests and therapies.
Garibaldi Health Clinic specialties include: Clinical Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture, Classical Homeopathy, Hydrotherapy, Lifestyle Counselling, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Bowen Technique, IV (Intravenous) Vitamin and Chelation Therapy, and Skeletal Alignment.
Diagnostic testing and services offered at Garibaldi Health Clinic are allergy testing, hair analysis, urinalysis, blood typing, and vitamin injections. In addition, hormone testing, heavy metal profiles, laboratory (blood) analysis, diagnostics for nutritional deficiencies/ excesses, physical examinations, and thermography may be suggested as part of a complete patient work-up.
A full dispensary of nutritional supplements, Chinese herbs, and botanical tinctures are available for patient convenience.
Prescriptive Authority - Naturopathic Doctors are licensed to prescribe medications in B.C. This improves primary care options for patients, eases the burden on our health system, and reduces waiting times. Most importantly, it increases patient choice in the health care that can be provided to them. Naturopathic Physicians still continue to treat patients using the same natural therapies they have always used, however this new regulation enhances treatment options to best suit the patient.
