IV therapy in Squamish — vitamin and iron infusions plus chelation therapy, delivered by naturopathic doctors certified to administer them.

Oral supplements are one option, but they aren’t the right fit for everyone. Some people find them difficult to tolerate; others have questions about the products they’re taking or the results they’re seeing. Your experience, health history, and relevant test results all matter when deciding whether to continue your current approach or consider a different route.

IV therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, and iron directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system entirely. Each option has different considerations, so we’ll talk through what it involves, explain potential benefits and risks, and answer your questions before you decide whether to proceed.

We offer three categories of IV therapy: vitamin and mineral infusions, iron infusions, and chelation therapy.

Vitamin & Mineral Infusions

Vitamin and mineral infusions deliver nutrients directly into the bloodstream rather than through the digestive system. It’s a different delivery route from taking a supplement by mouth, with its own considerations for how treatment is given and monitored.

Chelation Therapy

Chelation therapy is used to detoxify the body from heavy metal exposure — including mercury, lead, arsenic, aluminum, and others. A chelating agent (DMPS or EDTA) is delivered intravenously, where it binds to heavy metals in the body and helps escort them out through the kidneys.

We start with relevant testing and review the results with you before recommending a course of treatment. Chelation is a clinical procedure, not a wellness treatment — we’ll assess whether it’s appropriate for you and monitor closely throughout treatment.

Iron Infusions

The way iron is given matters, and there isn’t one approach that’s right for everyone. IV iron infusions deliver iron directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. We’ll review your experience with previous supplements, relevant bloodwork, and the options available before recommending a plan.

We offer iron infusions using Venofer or Monoferric, depending on your specific situation.

How it works.

Treatments happen in a private, comfortable treatment room. A short infusion takes 15–20 minutes. Larger doses are delivered as a drip over 45–75 minutes. Most patients read, rest, or nap through the session.

All IV therapy at Garibaldi is delivered by naturopathic doctors certified by the CCHPBC to administer IV and chelation therapies.

Where your care begins.

Most patients arrive at our door with something unresolved. Sometimes it's been years, sometimes it's brand new. Whatever you're working with, we're here to help.

When you book with us, we'll talk through what's been going on, what you've tried, and what you're hoping for. From there, we'll build the right plan together — whether that's care I continue with you, or care coordinated with another practitioner on our team.

There isn’t a set timeline that applies to everyone. Before treatment, we’ll talk through what to expect and how we’ll decide whether to continue or make a change.

Yes. Chelation is a clinical procedure, not a general wellness treatment. We review relevant test results before recommending it, explain the reasons for our recommendation, and discuss any follow-up testing.

Please tell us if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding before booking. Recommendations depend on the procedure and your individual circumstances. Chelation therapy is not recommended during pregnancy. Your practitioner will review your situation and discuss appropriate options.
